Live online training sessions will normally take place on the first Tuesday of every month, lasting 90 minutes. Training sessions will be recorded, just in case you can’t make it.

Student members can attend the Thursday open office hour Q&A, while Professional members get all three Q&As each month, provided on two Fridays (10-11) and a Thursday (4-5pm).

In our first session, we’ll add extra time for members input on upcoming training topics, whether to record office hour Q&A sessions for future reference or keep them unrecorded to encourage open, comfortable, and fully supportive discussions.

Learning from Steve and learning from others

Office hours are a friendly, supportive space to get direct support with whatever’s on your mind— whether it’s a problem you’re stuck on this week, a recurring challenge, or a question sparked by training. It’s a chance to talk things through, get clear answers, and feel confident moving forward. You can also use the time to follow up on Steve’s in-person courses or other online topics you’re working through.

Everyone can learn from the questions asked and the discussion it creates. Know that you're not the only one who struggles sometimes, and that you don’t always have to come with a question, just join in and get the benefits of Steve’s answers.

Professional membership topics may cover areas such as dealing with difficult contracts, setting yourself up for success, increasing biodiversity in conifer forests, woodland creation best practices, and other advanced forestry and ecology skills. It all depends on what you need.

You can book your first month for a one-off payment of just £17, trying out the Professional level membership with no commitment, and then decide how much support you want going forward, either continuing with Professional membership, being eligible for Student membership, or choosing to get extra 1-2-1 support each month as a VIP member.

Membership will then be set up as a direct debit that can be cancelled at anytime (membership will expire at what would have been your next renewal date, when your current months payment runs out).
