We will bring the knowledge and expertise; you just need to bring with you a laptop which has QGIS already loaded and Word/Excel or the equivalent.
You will need to have some basic understanding of QGIS and MS packages.
Part of this course will be conducted outside, no matter what the weather throws at us, so please bring appropriate wet weather clothing and a change of clothes if required.

Refund policy if a trainee needs to cancel: More than 2 months prior to the course = full refund. Between 1 and 2 months prior to the course = 50% refund. Less than one month before the workshop = no refund unless the place can be filled by another participant.

With over 30 years of experience, including two decades in government bodies, the Forestry Commission England, Wales and Natural Resources Wales, Steve Knight is a seasoned leader in land management and conservation.
Now leading Clunside Forestry and Ecology Services, and armed with forestry and ecology degrees, Steve excels in sustainable woodland management and forest design.
He also teaches environmental courses, provides specialised training in forest management and ecology, climate change and mitigation, and has led teams in designing woodland management plans for England and Wales.
Steve Knight has also designed and lectured at degree level on environmental topics such as Woodland ecology, EIA, taxonomy, climate change, woodland management and conservation.
